Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)
Peterborough and Cambridge
Monday to Friday, 40 or 45 hour contracts available.
Starting Salary: £31,000 - £39,000 depending on the chosen contract.

The Service Engineer role is part of a small team in the area, responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Peterborough and Cambridge. No extensive travel is required.
Responsibilities
* Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
* Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
* Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
* Spares placed in van overnight
Qualifications
* Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade also suitable
* Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills
* Ideally hold a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
