Overview
We are looking for an Advanced Paediatric Pharmacist (Band 8a) at the Children’s Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CHOX) within the NOTSSCaN division. This role supports a wide range of paediatric sub‑specialties, optimises medicines use, ensures patient safety and drives innovation in clinical pharmacy practice.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver ward‑based clinical pharmacy services and participate in ward rounds, clinics and MDT meetings.
* Develop and maintain advanced clinical skills, including non‑medical prescribing (NMP).
* Lead on medicines optimisation, governance and evidence‑based practice for complex and high‑cost therapies.
* Contribute to the development of protocols and guidelines for safe, effective and economical use of medicines.
* Support strategic initiatives to enhance paediatric pharmacy services across the Trust.
* Provide reciprocal cover and assist with dispensary duties when required.
What We’re Looking For
* GPhC‑registered pharmacist with paediatric experience.
