Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indo-Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will specialize in preparing and cooking a wide range of Indo-Chinese dishes that combine the flavors of Indian and Chinese cuisines. This role requires creativity, consistency, and a deep knowledge of authentic Indo-Chinese cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook popular Indo-Chinese dishes including noodles, fried rice, manchurian, chilli paneer, soups, gravies, and starters.
* Master wok cooking, stir-frying, seasoning, and sauce preparation.
* Develop and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
* Collaborate with management to create new Indo-Chinese menu items and seasonal specials.
* Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and minimize food wastage.
* Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
* Work effectively with the team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements
* Minimum 1–2 years' proven experience as an Indo-Chinese Chef in a restaurant or catering setting.
* Expertise in wok cooking and Indo-Chinese recipes.
* Knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indo-Chinese dishes.
* Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy kitchen.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
