Role Overview:
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will manage the delivery of high-quality scientific content, contribute to strategic publication plans, and interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization and with clients.
Responsibilities include:
1. Project delivery: Providing strategic direction, managing tactical delivery, reviewing scientific content, liaising with clients, and mentoring junior writers.
2. Business planning and commercial activities: Applying therapeutic knowledge, participating in meetings, supporting business development, and maintaining awareness of therapeutic developments.
3. Financial management: Monitoring project budgets, recording time accurately, and contributing to revenue targets.
4. Organizational and teamwork: Developing junior staff, coaching, mentoring, and supporting team collaboration and performance reviews.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven medical writing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to coach and mentor junior writers.
* Experience interacting with clients and medical experts.
* Proactive, flexible, and collaborative team player.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learner of new software.
* Life Science degree or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications include higher degrees (MSc or PhD), CMPP accreditation, and broad therapeutic area knowledge.
