Driver Hire Stockport are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our well respected client in Stockport. The candidate must have HGV experience, and will be responsible for making deliveries in a safe and timely. This job role will consist of going out with a drivers mate to make home deliveries, so good communication is required. The shift pattern will change on a weekly basis and the start times will vary from 8am-11am starts. Please be advised that you will be required to work some Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that full training is provided by our client. Duties of our HGV Class 2 Driver: Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws. Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance. Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle. Communicate effectively with customers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times. Requirements of our HGV Class 2 Driver: Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2) A Valid CPC and Tacho Card A minimum of 12 months experience is required No more than 6 points on licence Strong Communication skills Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. PAY RATES: £17.28ph- Minimum 8 hours paid £25.92ph overtime- Paid after 8 hours (1hour break taken) £25.92ph- Saturday shift £34.56ph- Sunday shift This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rated, if you wish to accrue these separately then your hourly rates will become: £15.42ph- Minimum 8 hours paid and £23.13ph overtime- Paid after 8 hours. £23.13ph- saturday shift & £30.84ph- Sunday shift
