You will provide an efficient and comprehensive business support and finance services to ensure effective management of police resource within the North East Region. Your duties will include regularly viewing and monitoring expenditure and income against defined budgets. Assisting in the preparation and collation of regular management information. Processing and validating Police and Police Staff overtime on relevant Force systems. Distributing petty cash and maintaining financial records of spend.
You will process region-wide financial transactions for goods, services, equipment, and consumables. You will resolve invoice and purchasing queries, validating accuracy and budget coding this will include raising debtor invoices to recover income and support income generation. Your role will also include providing comprehensive administrative support, including sorting and distributing ingoing and outgoing mail, responding to requests and queries from Officers and Staff and booking travel and accommodation for members of staff and Officers travelling around or Out of Force through a booking agency often in high pressure, time-sensitive situations.
