Responsibilities
* Drive serviceability with the Product Development teams to assist in the development, testing and rollout of new Traffic and EVCI products and services.
* Deliver technical support in a timely manner on Traffic and EVCI products to Field Services, Tendering/Sales, HSQE and Project Delivery, engaging with relevant experts in Engineering where necessary.
* Maintain close working relationships with all internal customers and proactively with external customers.
* Work with key stakeholders to drive Field Services efficiency and productivity improvement projects.
* Grow our Remote Support capabilities with both the Service Operation Centre and field operatives.
* Drive process improvements into installation techniques and maintenance contracts.
* Work with the team to bring Technical Support projects to completion.
* Occasional travel to all parts of the UK and occasional overseas visits.
* Seek/identify opportunities for new business and escalating where appropriate.
* Contribute to the development of the business via support of local contracts and customer liaison.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive knowledge of Yunex Traffic Products, Systems and Networks.
* Continuous personal knowledge and expert development to be a trusted technical expert.
* Strong problem‑solving skills for complex scenarios and implementing proactive change.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all organizational levels.
* Proficient in preparing complex reports using Microsoft Office tools.
* Skilled in liaising with customers’ suppliers and internal departments, presenting information in varied formats.
* Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships, influence opinions and manage negotiation in conflict areas.
* Knowledge of IET regulations and experience with electrical systems.
* HNC, ONC or equivalent education level.
