A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their high-performing Humanities faculty from September 2025. The role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about their subject and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

Role Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Teach a broad curriculum including physical, human and environmental geography
Use a range of teaching approaches to support pupils of all abilities and backgrounds
Incorporate geographical skills such as map reading, data analysis and GIS into lessons
Promote sustainability, environmental awareness and global citizenship
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Degree in Geography or a related subject
Experience teaching Geography to GCSE level (A-Level advantageous)
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire students
Familiarity with Edexcel, AQA or OCR Geography specifications
