We're looking for a Senior Civils Estimator to join our Natural Resources Nuclear & Networks team based in the North.
Location : Sites in Manchester and Warrington - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours : 40 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Civils Esitmator, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in maximising the commercial position of Kier whilst securing opportunities
in line with our contract objectives.
Your day to day will include:
* Leading the estimating process within the bid or framework teams from receipt of documents to handover to the delivery teams.
* Preparation and representation of the estimate bid team meetings and final settlement of bid
* Initiate technical queries and ensure design sufficiently developed to ensure accurate costings
* Technical and commerical appraisal of material and subcontract quotations including selection of prospective sub-contractors
* Use of estimating software as a basis of preparing the estimate, RIB Candy or similar software.
