In this pivotal role, you’ll manage key UK and US accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account growth through strategic insight and operational excellence. What You’ll Be Doing:
Account Management & Customer Service
* Be the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Build trust through regular communication and occasional on-site visits
* Deliver outstanding service with minimal errors
Sales Support & Growth
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Support tenders, quotes, and long-term agreements
* Generate new business through leads, lapsed clients, and market intelligence
Order & Forecast Management
* Oversee customer orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and product specs
* Collaborate with internal teams to meet technical and quality requirements
Market Insight & Strategy
* Monitor trends in aerospace and specialty metals
* Use insights to inform pricing and strategic decisions
Issue Resolution & Compliance
* Proactively resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues
* Maintain accurate records and support audits and reviews
Performance Reporting
* Track and report on key account metrics to drive continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in thesteel or manufacturing industry
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
* Strong administrative and customer service background
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
