Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will support a range of accounting functions, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance, with hands-on exposure to both operational and strategic finance tasks.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Month-End & Financial Support</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in the timely and accurate month-end close process</li><li>Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments</li><li>Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigations</li><li>Assist in stock monitoring and maintenance of the asset register</li></ul><p><strong>Accounting Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Process and code invoices and purchase orders</li><li>Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis</li><li>Maintain and update price lists and inventory records</li></ul><p><strong>Administrative Support</strong></p><ul><li>Support the day-to-day operations of Accounting Services</li></ul><p><strong>Key Relationships:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Internal:</strong> Daily interaction with the Financial Controller, Senior Financial Accountant, and wider Finance team</li><li><strong>Cross-functional:</strong> Regular contact with the Shared Services Centre (SSC), Lines of Business, and Divisional Functions</li></ul><p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role</li><li>Strong Excel and systems skills</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Working towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent</li><li>Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>A supportive and collaborative team environment</li><li>Opportunities for career progression and professional development</li><li>Exposure to a wide range of accounting processes and systems</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits</li></ul><p>Ready to step up in your finance career?
