They have an exceptional reputation for service, reliability and product quality, and due to continued growth across Ireland, they are now looking to hire a Business Development Manager to manage and expand key accounts throughout the region. This is a well-established territory with an extensive customer base and strong year-on-year growth. THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager, you will manage a broad portfolio of SME and mid-market clients across Ireland, with a sales focus of 80% account management and 20% new business development. You will be responsible for: Managing and growing an established customer base across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce Identifying opportunities to increase spend and support clients with tailored packaging solutions Conducting on-site visits, reviews and service meetings with purchasing, operations and supply chain teams Managing quotations, tenders, pricing and margin analysis Driving commercial performance across the region and expanding the company's footprint This is a full-cycle commercial role with full autonomy, supported by marketing, technical and operational teams. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: Experience in packaging, industrial consumables, technical products, or commercial B2B sales Proven account management experience handling SME to mid-value customers Strong financial and commercial acumen, able to calculate margin and profitability onsite with customers A consultative, relationship-driven sales style Strong organisational and territory management skills Full clean driving licence Willing to cover a wide territory including Northern Ireland This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional who wants to grow a large region with huge potential and long-term development opportunities.
