Job Title: Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
Working Pattern: Flexible Hours | Part-Time or Full-Time Considered
A reputable client of ours is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a flexible position with the potential to be either part-time or full-time, depending on the successful candidate’s availability and experience.
The role would suit someone who has ideally worked within a practice environment. You will need a strong working knowledge of Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients
2. Preparing management accounts and financial reports
3. Processing VAT returns and maintaining accurate records
4. Reconciling bank statements and managing client ledgers
5. Liaising with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
6. Working within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Candidate Requirements:
7. Solid bookkeeping and management accounting experience
8. Proficiency in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
9. Ideally has experience within an accountancy practice (not essential)
10. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
11. Capable of managing workload independently under time pressure
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
