Traffic Signals Engineer

Overview
As an ITS (Intelligent Transport System) Engineer you will manage day‑to‑day operations of the highway network, design traffic signals for capital maintenance and third‑party developers, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver ITS projects.
Responsibilities
* Provide operational management of the highway network with ITS engineers.
* Monitor and manage ITS equipment and infrastructure.
* Design traffic signals for the ITS capital maintenance plan and high‑way projects.
* Analyse and refine operational effectiveness of traffic signal installations.
* Collaborate with contractors, designers and consultants to deliver ITS‑related works.
* Sign off and accept ITS infrastructure on the highway.
Qualifications
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
* Proficiency in CAD and relevant software tools.
* Experience in capital maintenance planning and budgeting.
