Our Commitment
The Role
Working as part of a team of eleven, you will support the GCFD (Global Client Finance Director) and Managing Partner for two of Mindshare Worldwide's top global accounts.
Mindshare and the Global Commercial Team work with a large portfolio of global clients across automotive, FMCG, luxury, and financial sectors. You will be an integral part of a dynamic worldwide team, gaining top-tier experience and exposure to global media challenges across a wide range of clients at the forefront of creative, adaptive, and innovative media solutions.
All our global clients are subject to external audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. This role will support the GCFD in maintaining high standards on two key accounts, with a strong ability to influence external audit firms and promote continuous improvement within our agency teams.
Responsibilities
* Robust knowledge of key commercial contracts and relationships
* Co-management of agency client audit programs, including coordination with markets and auditors, negotiation of scopes, NDAs, MRLs, audit briefings, and certification programs. Manage post-audit settlements, remedial plans, and tracking results to resolve non-compliance issues.
* Provide consultancy services, including ad hoc contractual advice, market-specific commercial knowledge, and best practices in finance and audit.
* Work with the Commercial Team to onboard new clients globally, communicate key terms, assess risks, and implement countermeasures.
* Develop compliance programs tailored to market practices and client requirements.
* Oversee media performance audits, ensuring adherence to best practices and controlling digital and media audits.
* Create training and best practice programs, maintain guidance documentation, and participate actively in contractual projects.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified accountant, auditor, or legal professional
* Significant industry experience with a proven track record in commercial/financial roles
* Experience managing and negotiating contracts across multiple markets
* Knowledge of agency concepts, benefits, buying models, vendor contracts, and remuneration models
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines across different time zones
* Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and relationships
* Commercially savvy with the ability to interpret contracts in real-time and negotiate beneficially
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
* Experience in audit management and staff leadership is preferred
* Experience working across departments including legal, compliance, and client handling
