Title: Process Technician (Precision Assembly) Location: St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex Salary: Competitive Unique Benefits Senex Recruitment is working with a specialist engineering environment seeking a Process Technician to support precision assembly, component preparation, and manufacturing processes within a technical production setting. About this Process Technician role This is a hands-on position suited to someone practical and mechanically minded, ideally with an apprenticeship or early-career engineering background. Alternatively more experienced engineers / technicians looking for a role to challenge their precision manufacturing skills are invited to apply. The role focuses on precision assembly and specialist processes, working with delicate components in a controlled lab or workshop environment. You will develop skills in advanced manufacturing techniques, working closely with other engineers and production teams to produce high-quality components. Key responsibilities Precision Assembly and Component Preparation Carry out detailed preparation and assembly of components to a high standard. Specialist Bonding and Process Work Perform precision bonding processes using specialist adhesives and controlled techniques. Engineering Drawings and Procedures Follow technical drawings and step-by-step instructions to ensure consistency and quality. Workshop and Equipment Use Operate and maintain lab and workshop equipment, tools, and fixtures. Basic Machining and Finishing Support machining, preparation, and finishing of components where required. Process Improvement and Tooling Assist with improving jigs, fixtures, and assembly processes. Fault Identification and Problem Solving Identify issues during builds and apply practical solutions. Documentation and Process Support Help develop and improve work instructions and standard processes. Safety and Compliance Follow all health and safety procedures in a controlled working environment.
