Overview
Our client, a leading organisation, is currently seeking a Stores Person to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Responsibilities
* Managing and controlling stock levels
* Operating within the stores area to handle materials and stock items
* Loading and strapping down flatbed lorries
* Ensuring the accurate recording and management of inventory
* Using forklifts to move materials safely
* Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
* Conducting regular stock checks and audits
* Collaborating with other departments as necessary
Job Requirements
* Experience in stores/materials/stock control
* Warehouse experience, including forklift operation
* Ability to load and strap down flatbed lorries
* Good attention to detail with competency in IT
* Valid driving licence and own vehicle for site access
* Ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
