Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
* Take patient medical histories and record vital signs accurately.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Provide support in administrative tasks as needed, including billing and insurance processing.
Requirements
* Certification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent qualification is required.
* Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
