Operating from 13 state-of-the-art depots nationwide, the company is renowned for its exceptional service, staff development, and supportive working environment. Due to continued growth, they're now looking to welcome an experienced HGV Technician to their team in Doncaster. What the HGV Technician will be doing. As a skilled HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs Performing vehicle overhauls and modifications as required Conducting pre-MOT inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety standards Working to high technical and quality standards in a busy, safety-conscious workshop What we are looking for in a HGV Technician. To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds or NVQ) Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a focus on quality and safety A valid Class 1 HGV licence is desirable but not essential A positive, team-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure What the successful HGV Technician will receive Competitive hourly rate of £23.31 overtime paid at 1.5x Annual earnings up to £48,796 as a basic salary Attractive pension scheme Ongoing technical training and career development Cycle to work scheme and other company benefits Opportunity to work with a respected employer in a well-equipped, supportive workshop Ready to Apply for the HGV Technician role?
