Job Description
Cleaning Assistant | 8037 | Permanent contract | 22.2 hours per week | £14,193 per annum | Grade A | Norwich
To work as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness of all Front of House and communal Back of House areas of Norwich Museum Sites.
Requirements:
1. Experience of cleaning in a busy public building with good communication skills and customer awareness.
2. Willingness to undertake necessary training to develop and learn on the job.
3. Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace is advantageous.
4. Polite, able to work as part of a small team, and able to work independently with initiative.
5. Ability to follow instructions given by the daily Supervisor and complete tasks to a high standard.
Museum experience is not required, and there is no upper age limit.
Working days are varied from Monday to Sunday, including regular weekend work, bank holidays, and occasional evenings. The shift pattern operates on a two-week rota:
Week 1
* Friday 0800-1600
* Saturday 0800-1600
* Sunday 0800-1600
Week 2
* Monday 0800-1600
* Tuesday 0800-1600
* Saturday 0800-1600
