About the Role As Sous Chef, you will:
* Work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently outstanding food with an emphasis on flavour, precision, and refined presentation.
* Lead kitchen operations, including service coordination, prep organisation, and team supervision.
* Take ownership of bakery and pastry elements, including breads, pastries', desserts, and bespoke baked goods produced on-site daily.
* Support menu development with creativity and a strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients.
* Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, hygiene, and kitchen discipline.
What We Expect You will be:
* A strong culinary professional with proven experience as a Sous Chef (or senior chef de partie) in a refined kitchen environment.
* Experienced in bakery and pastry — this is essential and non-negotiable.
* Confident in leading, training, and motivating a brigade to deliver excellence in every service.
* Passionate about craft cookery, artisan baking techniques, and producing both savoury and sweet elements to a high standard.
* Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure.
