The Economics department is well established, with strong A-Level results and a growing interest at GCSE level.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Teaching Economics across KS4–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
2. Delivering engaging lessons that make supply & demand, global trade, and market behaviour accessible and exciting
3. Preparing students for exams while building real-world economic understanding
4. Supporting curriculum development and contributing to enrichment opportunities ( debating society, investment clubs)
5. Working collaboratively with colleagues in a forward-thinking humanities and business faculty
What we’re looking for:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in Economics or a related subject
7. Experience teaching A-Level Economics is highly desirable
8. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to spark curiosity and debate
9. A teacher who is adaptable, creative, and motivated by student success
10. Sponsorship can not be offered for this position
