Base pay range

Full-time (37 hours per week) and open-ended, with a shift allowance of 5%.

We are recruiting a Systems Officer to drive the continued improvement of Loughborough Sport’s customer service. As part of the Strategic Insights & Solutions Team, this role will support the delivery of critical business functions, such as facility hire, sports club bookings, event management, and gym membership schemes. Front and back of house experience of leisure management systems such as Legend by Xplor, Gladstone or XN is desirable but not essential.


Role and responsibilities

* Support delivery of critical business functions (facility hire, sports club bookings, event management, gym membership schemes).
* Set and uphold high standards of customer service, primarily through online support and face-to-face interactions in sports facilities.
* Assist Loughborough Sport colleagues with troubleshooting systems issues in a front-of-house environment.
* Be the first point of contact on campus during evenings and weekends as part of a rotating shift pattern (shift allowance of 5%).
* Put the customer at the centre of all activities, ensuring needs are understood and problems are solved proactively.
* Embrace and work with new systems and innovative technologies to solve problems.
* Collaborate with the Strategic Insights & Solutions Team to drive collaboration, innovation, and thinking across the University.


Qualifications and experience

* Highly motivated and passionate team players.
* Comfortable working with new systems; experience with leisure management systems (e.g., Legend by Xplor, Gladstone, or XN) is desirable but not essential.
* Strong customer focus and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
