Job Description:
A leading software provider is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 12-month contract. You'll work within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with Developers, Testers, and Architects to translate and define requirements, aiding in re-engineering current products.
Work Type: Hybrid working, 4 days in the office, 1 WFH, with some flexibility once settled in.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Developers, Testers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, agreed, and actionable. This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently.
* Lead sessions with Developers to understand existing system functionality.
* Translate technical requirements into clear business language for stakeholder review.
* Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to capture needs and ensure alignment.
* Build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
* Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and supporting documentation.
* Maintain a clear audit trail of requirement changes and decisions in Azure DevOps.
* Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review sessions.
* Experience working for a software house.
* Experience with systems re-engineering, complex system migrations, or modernization projects.
* Experience working closely with technical teams (Developers, Architects, Testers).
* Comfortable working within an Agile delivery environment.
* Proficient with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working with legacy systems and translating existing functionality into modern solutions.
* Familiarity with workflows in Azure DevOps.
* Knowledge of test planning and UAT processes.
