Frankly is searching for fully qualified HGV Mechanics for a company in the Greater London region of the United Kingdom.
These are full-time employment positions.

Requirements
•Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles
•Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
•Conduct vehicle inspections, safety checks, and defect reporting to ensure roadworthiness
•Prepare vehicles for MOT tests, including pre-inspection and rectification work
•Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools accurately and safely
•Complete all job cards, service records, and compliance documentation to a high standard
•Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures
•Respond to breakdowns or urgent repair requirements as required
•Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
•Work collaboratively with workshop staff, fleet managers, and supervisors to minimise vehicle downtime
Requirements
•Fully qualified HGV / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
•Proven experience working on HGVs and commercial vehicles in a workshop or fleet environment
•Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics
•Competent in using diagnostic equipment and modern workshop tools
•Familiarity with DVSA regulations, MOT preparation, and roadworthiness standards
•Ability to diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs with minimal supervision
•Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 preferred but not essential)
•Good understanding of health & safety procedures within a workshop environment
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete accurate documentation and job records
•Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team
