GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bognor Regis. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with additional needs in achieving their academic and personal goals. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning or communication difficulties. Provide one-to-one or small group assistance to help pupils access learning and develop essential life skills. Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies and individual education plans (IEPs). Promote positive behaviour, independence, and self-confidence among pupils. Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and progress. Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing to support targeted intervention. Requirements for SEND TA: Previous experience working in an SEND or mainstream school environment is desirable. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A proactive and caring approach to helping pupils achieve their full potential. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
