Youll run our central warehouse, deliver stock to stores, manage suppliers, control inventories, and own all logistics. The role is designed for someone seeking stable, long-term work who will take pride in consistent operations and become a key part of the Toast team. Key Responsibilities Oversee all goods in/out and keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized (incl. chilled/frozen). Drive and plan daily deliveries to all Toast stores across Essex, ensuring on-time and correct delivery. Conduct regular stocktakes (weekly central/store, monthly for accounts); maintain accurate records. Build strong supplier relationships; source and set up new products as needed. Monitor costs, margins, waste, and stock losses; address issues and drive improvements. Keep delivery vehicles maintained and records up to date. Visit each store at least once a month to monitor stock and support teams. Continuously improve warehouse and logistics processes, keeping handbooks and systems updated. Requirements Full UK driving licence and able to drive delivery vans. Physically fit (lifting up to 20kg, manual handling training provided). Solid experience in logistics, warehouse, procurement, or stock control (2 years). Good knowledge of food safety, especially chilled/frozen. Familiar with digital stock management systems.
