About us
A night RVN position has become available at Wear Referrals, TS21 2ES. At Wear Referrals, our top priority is to provide outstanding specialist care to our patients.
We pride ourselves on being a very friendly, supportive and approachable team. With a team of 63 RVN across the hospital, we are looking for an additional night nurse to join the team.
We have a team of 14 RVN's, 2 SVN's & 1 PCA working on the night team rolling rota pattern, with a Veterinary Surgeon working alongside the team each evening.
Your role and responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Providing gold standard care to both inpatients and primary care emergency patients
* Patientcare and handovers; liaising with clinician and nurse teams
* Supporting patients under sedation and general anaesthesia during diagnostic and surgical procedures

Potential applicants will need to be effective at time management and communication, and have a desire to grow within the role as well as be passionate about providing the best standard of care to our patients.
Previous referral nursing experience is not essential, as we offer training and support to fully qualified RVNs joining the hospital from primary care. We do however require a minimum of post registration experience.
