Role: SENCo Assistant
Location: Jubilee School, Waterlooville PO7 7RE
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0830-1630
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a SENCo Assistant to join our close-knit team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education.
About The Role
The SENCo Assistant will ensure that, in collaboration with the Special Education Needs provision, they assist across all aspects of the SENCo role.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, relevant family members and carers.
* Engage with key stakeholders within Local Authorities (SEND, CSC etc) and across other agencies and professional organisations.
* Collaborate with all staff across the school setting.
* Collate and share key documents in preparation for the Annual Review, including Education, Health, Educational Psychology, Therapy, and other reports, with meeting delegates as per SEND Code of Practice within statutory time frames.
* Record and share EHCP Annual Review summary reports with delegates as per the SEND CoP statutory time frames.
* Manage and securely store all information relating to the EHCP process as per GDPR within the UGS site both electronically and on paper.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate for Assistant SENCo will possess the following qualifications/attributes:
* Experience in Special Education
* GCSE English and Maths
* Willingness to learn and attend personal development sessions

Jubilee School is an independent special school for pupils with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health needs. Some pupils have additional SEND. Jubilee School is linked with four residential accommodations and located in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth.
