We have an exciting career opportunity for a Second Chef to join our stunning AA Awarded Hotel & AA rosette Restaurant Silks Bistro & Champagne Bar. As Chef de Partie you will be responsible for a section of the kitchen within our fast-paced restaurants with a real focus on quality cuisine. Including service, training, logging and receiving foods and maintain the quality product.
This is position is a great opportunity for someone looking for variety within their job as you will be working within both our events kitchen and Silks Bistro, both offering different styles of food and dining experiences for our guests.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
Helping the sous chef and head chef to provide best food possible
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
