RPS are seeking an Administrator to join our Private Leakage Team based in Cardiff.
This role is a hybrid position (Office based for 3 days), working 40hrs a week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing
Working with our customers and third parties to address customer side leakage (supply pipe and plumbing loss) - through the utilization of our statutory powers (Water Industry Act 1991).
Managing a large volume of cases through the internal process.
Investigating and advising on responsibility for land, property, and pipework through land registry searches and engagement (training provided).
Drafting legal notices (pre-templated), and communicating directly with customers (phone, email, letter).
Problem solving to ensure the method of resolution considers both the customer and business interest.
Complaint responses
Workload / work basket management
Accurate logging of information and correspondence within corporate systems
Drafting of internal communications around re-charging.
Who we're looking for
Highly organized and self-motivated / driven.
Experience in customer service / management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum qualification of GCSE A-C English or Welsh).
Problem solving, and the ability to identify more efficient ways of doing things.
Confidence to have challenging conversations with customers and to deal with conflict.
Ability to confidently communicate in Welsh.
Willingness and ability to travel across our Operational area, with the occasional paid for over-night stay (where cases required).
Good IT skills (standard Microsoft type packages).
