We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow our footprint across the UK 3D printing market. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build a career in the fast-growing additive manufacturing sector.
You will focus on generating new business opportunities, developing mid-sized accounts, and supporting strategic enterprise deals across industries such as automotive, aerospace, healthcare, product design, and industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Development
· Identify and engage new prospects across the UK market
· Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
· Conduct outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, events) to generate meetings
· Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations (with support where needed)
· Close small-to-mid value deals independently
2. Account Management & Growth
· Manage and grow assigned customer accounts
· Identify upsell opportunities in materials, services, or additional systems
· Build long-term relationships with engineering, procurement, and operations teams
3. Market Development
· Map key EMEA manufacturing clusters
· Attend trade shows and industry events
· Monitor competitor activity and report insights
4. Internal Collaboration
· Work closely with technical application engineers
· Coordinate with marketing on campaigns and lead follow-up
· Maintain accurate CRM reporting and forecasting
Required Qualifications
· 2–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience
· Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical product sales
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Comfortable speaking with technical stakeholders
· Self-motivated with a hunter mindset
· Willingness to travel across the UK (30–40%)
