Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various automotive systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will also provide excellent customer service, ensuring that clients are informed about their vehicle's condition and the necessary repairs.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals.
* Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly of automotive components.
* Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to keep workshop tools in optimal condition.
* Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes and addressing any client concerns.
Skills
* Proficient in reading schematics and understanding automotive systems.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques.
* Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Familiarity with maintenance procedures for various vehicle types.
* Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
