A senior finance leadership position within a large organisation operating across the UK. The business is experiencing significant growth, transformation and integration activity,
creating an opportunity to shape how financial planning, performance reporting and insight are delivered to the management team.
This role sits at the heart of decision‑making, driving consistency, quality and insight across all FP&A activity aiding commercial and strategic decision making.
The Role
You will own and lead the FP&A agenda for a large business, setting standards, challenging performance and supporting senior leaders with clear, actionable financial insight.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading all FP&A activity in line with company frameworks and expectations
* Owning month‑end performance reporting, including delivery of insight, variance analysis and corrective actions to all stakeholders
* Running the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting cycles, reviewing, challenging and consolidating submissions from multiple business units
* Acting as a trusted business partner to senior leaders
* Building and developing a high‑performing FP&A team through a period of change
* Overseeing analysis of OPEX, cost drivers and movements, supporting consistent cost classification and functional ownership
* Providing insight into net working capital and cash forecasting to support improved cash collection
* Ensuring robust, consistent financials and coverage reporting across multiple legal entities
* Supporting Group‑led finance systems implementations, including planning and forecasting platforms
* Contributing to finance due diligence work as required, working alongside central M&A teams
Candidate Profile
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 10+ years’ post‑qualification experience
* Background in within a large, multi‑entity environment
* Strong FP&A experience, ideally within a similarly sized or complex organisation
* Proven ability to influence and partner effectively at senior leadership level
* Confident working with consolidated reporting, story‑telling and providing actionable insight
* A credible people leader with a track record of building high‑performing teams
