About the Role
Associates and Senior Associates play a critical role in ensuring accurate transaction processing, corporate action execution, client query resolution, and data quality management.
Responsibilities may include
* Managing and maintaining transaction processing activities across asset transfers and fund operations
* Reviewing, investigating, and resolving client fund queries
* Capturing and validating corporate action data from multiple providers
* Monitoring and improving data transfer, integration, and reporting accuracy
* Resolving cash and stock breaks and supporting settlement activities
* Executing test plans and supporting system or process enhancements
* Working to tight market‑driven deadlines with a strong attention to detail
* Identifying process improvements and supporting operational control enhancements
* Utilizing Excel and multiple internal systems to input, extract, reconcile, and validate data
* Collaborating with internal teams and responding to client inquiries via phone and email
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including digital tools and AI‑enabled solutions
Senior Associate roles may additionally involve
* Handling more complex transactions and data fixes
* Providing guidance and knowledge‑sharing to junior team members
* Supporting control oversight and quality assurance initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in high‑volume environments
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Clear communication skills and commitment to client service
* Strong Excel skills (including formulas and data manipulation)
* Ability to analyze and reconcile data effectively
* Experience working with workflow systems and multiple platforms
* Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn
* Experience in financial services, securities, funds, or wealth operations preferred
* Exposure to SWIFT messaging, reconciliation processes, or corporate actions desirable
* Interest in process improvement, digital tools, and AI
* For data-focused roles: familiarity with data analysis, regression techniques, or Python is advantageous
Education
* High school/secondary education or equivalent experience required
* Bachelor’s degree welcomed but not mandatory
Experience
* Associate I: Early career or transferable skills
* Associate II: Several years of operational experience
* Senior Associate: Strong operational background with demonstrated ownership and technical expertise
