Hours: 40 hours per week average over the year, shift work 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00 then 10:00-22:00 Sat and Sun 06:00-16:00)

What you'll be doing
* Manage the day to day running of the shift teams on the SLF plant, including staff holidays and sickness management
* Provide adequate and appropriate training to ensure site operations have sufficient resources
* Participate in site/facility QHS meetings, promoting environmental awareness and Health & Safety standards
* Work with the site management team to ensure day-to-day site operations comply with legislative and organisational requirements
* Provide daily tasks to and supervise a team of operatives, ensuring priorities align with site requirements
* Provide cover for the Site Operations Manager role as required
What we're looking for
* Knowledge of COMAH / MAH / OSSOW (Operational Safe Systems of Work)
* Experience in waste treatment or chemical processing industry, plant control systems and equipment
* Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental systems
* FLT trained
* Driving licence advisable
