Job Purpose
As part of our dynamic finance team, this role has broad exposure across the business and plays a key role in shaping the group’s financial planning and analysis. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll work closely with senior management to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, providing insights that drive informed decision-making. You'll also contribute to building our data strategy, helping to strengthen accountability and support the business with meaningful analysis.

Skills & Experience
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar FP&A or commercial finance role, ideally within the Retail or FMCG sectors.
2. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
3. Strong leadership and team development capabilities, with a proven track record of managing, mentoring, and motivating high-performing finance teams.
4. Proven experience engaging with business stakeholders and external partners, building strong relationships to support commercial and strategic objectives.
5. Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
6. Lead, develop, and mentor the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
7. Lead the annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and longer-term strategic planning processes across the Group.
8. Responsible for commercial finance reporting, such as the weekly trade pack, monthly variance analysis
9. Act as a strategic business partner to stakeholders to maximise business performance through data analysis.
10. Direct the team in conducting in-depth performance analysis, including revenue trends, cost drivers, and margin optimisation.
11. Collaborate with the Buying and Merchandising teams to improve reporting capabilities and data tools, aligning outputs with the overall business strategy.
12. Provide robust financial guidance and evaluation for new projects, initiatives, and business expansion opportunities.
