National Accounts & Frameworks Manager (m/f/d)
The purpose of this NEW Business Development Manager role is to develop sales of our residential product portfolio, primarily within the National New Build and Social Housing channels. The role will focus on completing framework and tender submissions, liaising with key decision makers, building long-term partnerships, and securing specifications of Carrier RLC products and value-added services.
Based field-wise and reporting to the Head of Key Accounts & Strategic Partnerships, the role collaborates with the Residential and Commercial sales teams to develop existing customer relationships and grow new business within residential specification channels.
Responsibilities include:
1. Completing Public & Private Sector Supply Chain Frameworks
2. Supporting key decision makers at UK Social Housing Providers
3. Engaging with senior contacts across the Top 30 UK Housebuilders
4. Understanding customer needs and how Carrier RLC Products support Net Zero targets
5. Expanding relationships with existing customers by proposing tailored solutions
6. Serving as the communication link between customers and internal teams
7. Resolving customer issues to maintain trust
8. Generating new sales for long-lasting relationships
9. Preparing progress reports and forecasts using key account metrics
Candidate requirements:
1. Understanding of the specification process and routes to market
2. Market knowledge of the heating and heat pump sector from manufacturing sales experience
3. Proven success as a key account or framework manager
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and motivational skills
5. Self-motivated, target-oriented, with commercial acumen
6. Ability to analyze sales performance metrics
7. Customer service orientation with a solution-focused attitude
8. Experience with presentations, reports, managing budgets, and conducting meetings
9. Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel nationwide
10. Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and competitor knowledge
11. Successful sales background in a similar field and familiarity with CRM software and Google tools
