What you'll do
* Work closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional, seasonal dishes that reflect our values and showcase the best of local produce.
* Support and guide the kitchen team, leading by example and fostering a culture of respect, learning, and growth.
* Take ownership of food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
* Contribute your creativity to menu development, bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the table.
* Champion kitchen standards, including food safety, hygiene, and sustainability.
* Play an active role in training, mentoring, and inspiring colleagues, helping the whole team to thrive together.
* Maintain stock control, minimise waste, and work with drive and efficiency to ensure smooth, successful service.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef (or ready to step up into the role) in a quality hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for seasonality and provenance.
* A natural leader who believes in teamwork, communication, and creating a supportive environment.
* A positive, can-do attitude with the drive to keep improving and learning.
* Ability to remain calm, focused, and upbeat under pressure.
