Your new role
As General Manager, you will provide senior leadership across all operational,mercial and support functions within the business. You will take a high level view of the organisation to ensure departmental alignment, strong performance and clearmunication between teams. You will lead, support and develop managers across the site, fostering a professional, accountable and collaborative working environment. A key focus of the role will be overseeing operational performance, analysing KPIs, identifying issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You will also maintain and develop key customer relationships, ensuring service levels,munication and delivery expectations are consistently met. With responsibility forpliance, quality, health & safety and audit readiness, you will ensure the business operates to the highest standards. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence on long term strategy and organisational development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in manufacturing, ideally plastics, with at least 5 years’ senior management experience leading cross‑functional teams. You willbine strong operational understanding with the ability to interpret data, ask the right questions and take a structured approach to problem solving. Excellentmunication, leadership presence and the ability to motivate and develop managers are essential. You will bemercially aware,fortable engaging with key customers and experienced in managing budgets and performance. A degree in business, engineering or a related discipline is desirable, and experience in continuous improvement or change management will be beneficial.
