Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester required in Salisbury
1. Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum, pending experience, with additional annual bonus potential.
2. Opening hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm

Our client, an automotive service centre group with multiple sites across Southern England, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for their site in Salisbury.
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out Service, maintenance, repairs, and MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to Ministry standards, as well as providing overall workshop support as and when required.
To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Salisbury and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner, given that you shall occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high-quality work within specified time frames. An MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points are highly beneficial to our client at this stage.
