RM Recruit are delighted to be working in partnership with a brilliant business based in Walsall who are actively seeking a full-time, Finance Assistant to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role is based onsite in Monday-Friday with hours of work set between 8.30am – 5.30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a busy and supportive finance department within a well-established organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records * Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts * Prepare sales invoices and manage aged creditors * Prepare payment runs for suppliers * Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures * Supporting the preparation of management reports and financial statements * Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships * Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required Requirements: * AAT qualified or qualified by experience. * A key understanding of accounting principles * Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software * Excellent communication and organisational abilities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you’re a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next temporary opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
