Family Liaison Officer Salary: Scale 6, point 18 - £31,537 pro rata, per annum. Actual salary: £27,079 per annum. Contract: Full time, 37 hours per week, term time only, fixed term until 24/07/2026 Closing date: Monday 23rd February 2026 at 9am Toot Hill School has an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Family Liaison Officer. Toot Hill is the founder member of the Nova Education Trust and central to our vision is to provide exciting, engaging and inspiring lessons. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop our student’s talents and aspirations. Your main responsibilities within this role will be: To provide a high quality, responsive service to students faced with welfare and safeguarding issues, in accordance with statutory responsibilities and making referrals to appropriate agencies when required. To lead the school’s daily response to safeguarding concerns and referrals. To keep up-to-date, accurate and secure safeguarding records of students and involvement from social services or other external agency involvement. To liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Lead on a daily basis, ensuring that all relevant safeguarding concerns are communicated to the Pastoral teams. Conduct daily home visits for students that need a safe and well check. The successful applicant must hold a current driving license and be prepared to drive the school minibus. Monitor and manage safeguarding referrals through CPOMS ensuring interventions are timely and responsive, in line with child protection legislation and statutory guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
