Our client is an established and growing organisation operating within a technical and industrial engineering environment. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead growth across capital projects and service offerings, working with major customers across the UK and Ireland.
This is a senior, client‑facing position suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, building long‑term customer relationships, and shaping commercially viable engineered solutions.
Based in the North West this role will require UK and European Travel, onsite will be required when not out on business. Flexibility will be available for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, and developing technical solutions alongside engineering colleagues. The role combines commercial leadership, strategic thinking and hands‑on customer engagement, contributing directly to the company’s growth ambitions.

The Skills
Experience & Capability
* Strong technical sales or business development background within industrial engineering, manufacturing, process systems, energy, environmental or related technical sectors.
* Ideally HND/HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* Ability to understand engineering challenges and shape practical, value‑adding solutions with technical teams.
* Proven experience managing and developing long‑term customer relationships.
* Solid commercial skill set: pricing, negotiation, forecasting and opportunity qualification.
* Comfortable working across both capital project sales and service/aftermarket environments.
