Customer Delivery Driver/Picker role at apetito UK
This position works 24 hours per week, any 3 in 6 days including bank holidays.
Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with customers is crucial to our success.
In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers' doors, no matter what the weather is doing.
You will work within our coldstore that runs at a chilly -20°C, with protective clothing and warm breaks provided.
You will work as part of the wider team, helping with office tasks, and we encourage movement between teams for flexibility, satisfaction and personal development.

Responsibilities
* Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
* Pick orders within the coldstore
* Use our app to update customer deliveries
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
* Undertake pre‑shift inspection of your van
* Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
* Keep your van clean and refuel as needed
* Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
* Ensure customer confidentiality
* Help the office and picking teams when required
* Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
* Assist when another team member is absent or on holiday
* Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet drop‑offs and visits to sheltered housing to attract new customers
Essential Qualifications
* Experience in a customer service‑based role
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps
* Evidence of work stability
* Basic secondary education
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in a multi‑drop delivery role
* Experience in a care‑based role
* Warehouse experience
* Health & Safety awareness
Personal Qualities
* Friendly, approachable and reliable
* Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
* Good attendance and timekeeping
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years.
All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks.
As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure.
