My client based in Birmingham is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to support them on a 6 month fixed term contract. They are looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks and commutable from Birmingham as they in the office 2 days per week. Key responsibilities of the role: Reviewing and implementing innovative ways in which to improve our month end numbers therefore improving the overall efficiency of our projects Analysing on a weekly basis soft closing the week in order to prepare for month end Playing a key role in reducing the time it takes to complete month end reporting Leading key projects such as year end audits and internal audit self assessments delivering exceptional deadlines and improving business performance Managing a junior member to ensure they have grasped an understanding of business requirements and complete deadline requirements on time.Skills and knowledge: Excellent excel skills Strong ability to work with ERPs, specifically Navision Proactive Driven Problem solver - able to problem solve without promptsThe ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent and will be available to start immediately.
