This is a fully remote job and can be based in South Wales We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Field Service Technician, to support one of our most prestigious clients. As a Field Service Technician, you will provide vital repair services in retail environments within an assigned territory. You will be part of our customer facing technical teams. Responsibilities • Gains familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures. • Participates in assigned hardware and software trainings (on the job, classroom and web based). • Utilizes Diebold Nixdorf’s diagnostic tools to perform troubleshooting. • Performs hardware repairs and maintenance. • Cleans and adjusts and configures components. • Configures and installs applicable software. • Performs routine checks according to documented procedures. • Instructs and trains customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software. • Participates in the implementation of measures to achieve agreed KPIs. • Assists with special projects as assigned. Qualifications • Education or equivalent work experience required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in any mobile engineering discipline. • Ideally have worked providing one of the following IT, EPOS, Break Fix, Customer Support. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Full, clean UK driver’s license required.
