Quantity Surveyor
Location: Beverley – hybrid working options

Reports To: Commercial Manager
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a market leading company who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is a key role providing commercial management across a variety of projects, working closely with and supporting a commercial team.
What you'll do:
Prepare and issue Applications for Payment and secure client approvals
Manage and settle Final Accounts within set timescales
Recover retention and manage project finances effectively
Collaborate with Project and Site Managers to monitor progress and resolve issues
Issue and manage Sub-Contract Works Orders and variations
Assess subcontractor performance through site visits
Review and approve Sub-Contractor Applications for Payment, issuing certificates as required
Authorise and receipt Purchase Orders
Produce re-measure reports and project-related reports for the Commercial Manager
What we're looking for:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Experience in a QS role
Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently
Proven track record in managing accounts, payments, and subcontractor performance
