National Account Manager (DIY & Distribution) – Building Products
Area to be covered: National (2 days home based)
Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits
The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:
* National Account Controller position promoting a high quality range of engineered wood products
* 1 direct report to manage, develop and mentor
* All of your time will be focused on managing one of our clients largest spending DIY distribution accounts (B&Q)
* Support with new product launches and development
* Directly involved with pricing implementation
* Liaise with internal customer service, marketing, supply team and transport teams
* National coverage willing to commutable to Southampton on a regular basis
The ideal applicant will be an National Account Manager – Wood Products with:
* Must have a proven track record in sales and account management
* Must have experience managing large accounts in the retail / DIY distribution sector
* Ideally dealt directly via the Kingfisher Group previously
* Ideally sold timber / wood products however not essential
* Must be commercial astute and able to create sustainable end contractual agreements
