Job Opportunity: Mortgage Protection Administrator
My client is looking for a Mortgage Protection Administrator to join their team based in Leigh-On-Sea. This is a hybrid role; after full training, you will be able to work from home two days a week.
Working Hours and Flexibility: The company offers flexible working hours, accommodating school drop-offs and other personal commitments. You may arrive slightly after 9 am and leave around 3 pm, with the option to make up hours or work only the hours you are charged for. The role is Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adjust days and hours as mutually agreed.
Compensation: The pay rate is £14.50 per hour. The role is open to candidates wishing to work through a sole trader arrangement.
Job Purpose
The Mortgage Protection Administrator will provide administrative support to the sales team, manage files accurately within specified timeframes, and focus on delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Key Duties
1. Progress mortgage cases through to legal completion and beyond.
2. Liaise with Mortgage Advisers to monitor case progress and resolve any queries.
3. Manage client emails and account management for repeat clients.
4. Perform general office administration tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and answering calls.
5. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and compliance standards.
Required Skills
* Experience in administration within a mortgage or financial services environment is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
* Attention to detail and familiarity with prescribed systems and procedures.
* Self-motivated and professional attitude.
* Good organizational skills and common sense, as the role involves managing multiple tasks efficiently.
